So yet more exciting events that would be better served by single stamps, rather than pretty pictures with old stamps attached at a premium price. Would not a set of stamps with appropriate pictures have been better? The Australian sheet is no use to send a letter to Australia - so is just aimed at those with money to burn! Better a single stamp valued at £1.28
ReplyDeleteI could not agree more with the previous writer. Why not release single stamps - with appropriate values? We have countless stamps with Dr Who, yet no actual stamp for either Brittania or Livingstone. Perhaps one of the Coronation anniversary stamps could be a picture of Brittania?
