Thank you for your posts to test comments accessibility

It seems that for the majority of people the problems are now resolved.  Details in this comment which was left last week may explain the problems:

Google do not support the following browsers in their apps, which may well include blogger:

- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
- Mozilla Firefox 3.5
- Apple Safari 3″

And I would assume any lesser versions are implied as also unsupported.

Microsoft itself stopped supporting IE6 early last year - and has a website dedicated to killing it off.. anyone still using this browser should certainly upgrade to a newer version or IE for their own safety. http://www.ie6countdown.com/

Differences reported with IE9 working for some and not for others could be accounted for by IE9 tripping into 'compatibility mode' which is supposed to mirror IE8 but in reality creates a sort of halfway house between 8 and 9, and isn't guaranteed to act like either.

    1. Thanks to all who have tested and commented. I've copied the bulk of these to the google blog-help-forum but have not had any response yet from google people or any other users.

It is odd that despite some people reporting no problems at all, others are (still, today) reporting the same hang-ups that triggered this in the first place.

  12. Just to confirm yesterdays message, i tried again acessing this page from work using WIndows XP Pro and IE7, it still wont load this page, all i get to see are the last two posts, cant scroll upwards to see more, and the form text box never loads at all.

I dont know if you do the coding yourself or not, but it might be worth noting that most of the people having problems are using older versions of IE, notably 6 and 7, both these versions of IE were released prior to the release of HTML5. If any of your code is new from the HTML5 release and not backwards compatable, then this maybe the source of your problem.

    Hope that helps

    1. Thanks Jeff.
None of the coding is mine - the base software is all google's, and only the posts are mine.
True I sometimes use the HTML editor rather than the ordinary text editor, but that shouldn't affect everything for any reader.

But it may be the source of the problem if google is using HTML5 code, or it may be a Java thing as another reader wrote on one of the forums.
