*Further information:
Please note that the final overprint wording may still be subject to
change. As these are the museum’s final stocks, availability is subject
to demand and may run out before the dates listed above.
Although it may seem logical for the End of Post & Go inscription to be on all reels at present Royal Mail have limited it to those three shown. It would certainly produce more revenue - which would go straight to the bottom line - if all 7 reels were treated alike. Watch this space.
A001 also appears to have gained a reel 6 as well!
ReplyDeleteI think it is 6 because 2 is receipts
DeleteFLEET AIR ARM MUSEUM:
ReplyDeleteI have seen the Poppy Stamps which have been put into the Machin Head side and read the same as seen above,i.e 'Lest we Forget' but with the "Fleet Air Arm" added instead. RW
Same at Steam!
DeleteFurther to the table published above it is confirmed that the Greenery this year will be R19YAL and CL17S into A001 with R17YAL into A013.
ReplyDeleteThis is a reversal of last years codes for 1st class strips.
As often happens this was not what happened.
DeleteAt the start of the day R19YAL greenery had been placed into A013 Mail Rail kiosk, the error was corrected early afternoon after around 2 hours when R17YAL Greenery was inserted as per the original plan and remains the situation.
