Friday 13th - lucky for some!

We've had a report that a sheet of Diamond Jubilee definitives was bought from an office in Scotland this morning - over 3 weeks early!  Surely they can't have sold all their Olympic/Paralympic definitives already?

We can now show the actual Diamond Jubilee definitive - thanks to James for sending this:


 

The Glasgow postmark uses roman numerals for the month, so this reads 13 I 2012

    What is the security code on this stamp? I can't see one, but then I'm new to this.

      There is no source code on stamps from counter sheets, John.

    Thanks for your reply about the security code, I am now a bit wiser. My local post office does not seem to stock counter sheets of 1st and 2nd Class Machin definitives, always offering the country stamps or books of Machins. My delay in replying was caused by my inability to access the comments page. I have replied to your other thread about this.
