Diamond Jubilee Miniature Sheet and Business Sheet

I can now show the actual miniature sheet and business sheet for this issue.

Printing date for the Business Sheet is 02/12/11.  The security source codes are MMND for the miniature sheet and MBND for the business sheet.

Images of source codes:

The stamps are printed in four colour process (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) rather than the original colours, and registration is not perfect in some cases. See this example:

  1. Ian - is it possible for you to pass on the Birmingham Franking Office address/contact (if known) whereby I could order one of the Jubilee covers as shown on the MachinMania site? Many thanks

    2. First Day Covers are not sold by the Royal Mail Special Handstamp Centres.

Best thing is to send an email to the people who run MachinMania and ask them for details of the website that shows the cover you refer to so that you can order it there.

Might be an idea to tell them that the blogpost that the cover is on is way back on December 4th, in case they have trouble finding it.

  2. Hi Ian,
Regarding the Diamond Jubilee miniature sheet, has anyone else got a copy where the reproduction Wilding is definatly lighter in shade and 'fuzzy' as if printing is offset on on of the shades?

Now atempting to get a pic to you.

    Cheers

    John
