The machine will be available 7 days a week once the museum opens in full on 28 July.

I think it should be granted that the new overprints will continue to be used from 28 july until further notice.Thomas von Loepernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-52521091794488984922017-07-06T07:37:32.738+01:002017-07-06T07:37:32.738+01:00I take your point regarding a variation on the Uni...I take your point regarding a variation on the Union Flag but I am sure something could have been done to incorporated the Postal Museum logo as it was designed. With regards to the 2017 on the Machin but not on the Union Flag I would take it off both stamps and just use the words 'Official Opening'.Bnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-87169634842412170082017-07-05T19:05:24.317+01:002017-07-05T19:05:24.317+01:00If that was done there would be more than one vers...If that was done there would be more than one version of the Union Flag stamp, possibly running in parallel which would give everyone something else to moan about!Ian - Norvichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16436130277706268046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-14458110097107079112017-07-05T16:27:02.658+01:002017-07-05T16:27:02.658+01:00Correct. If they were to reduce the image of the Union flag, just a small amount (10%?) - then 2017 would fit and we would have consistency.Frankie Gnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-7314688713307303402017-07-04T17:24:03.013+01:002017-07-04T17:24:03.013+01:00I thought that the 'envelope' marque shoul...I thought that the 'envelope' marque should have been used somehow on the new Post & Go stamps as this is part of the museum's logo especially as this is for the new Postal Museum. It appears from the two illustrations shown that it just a matter of 'sticking on what you can'. There is 2017 on the Machin head because it fits but is left of the Union Flag stamp because it does not fit.Brian Mnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-42549496700547247342017-06-30T12:04:54.664+01:002017-06-30T12:04:54.664+01:00I'm only the messenger and I don't underst...I'm only the messenger and I don't understand it.
