The blog uses Google's Blogspot facility, we have (as far as I know) no control over your ability to edit and I don't recall being able to correct or edit any post I have made on any other blog using Blogspot (like MachinMania).

Can only suggest you prepare your comment in Word or another text editor and check it before copying it here.Ian - Norvichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16436130277706268046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-86806212081919588932012-09-28T23:16:43.516+01:002012-09-28T23:16:43.516+01:00Re "...Something we will have to think about ...Re "...Something we will have to think about on the next redevelopment." I would like to suggest that an edit facility, for the comment poster, be introduced so that spelling mistakes etc can be corrected instead of having to delete a comment and re-posting it. I can edit on all other sites that I use.Erikbloodaxehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07635111023855897277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-39642500298337649892012-09-28T10:15:16.435+01:002012-09-28T10:15:16.435+01:00Yes, I think you are right, RobertYes, I think you are right, RobertIan - Norvichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16436130277706268046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-174185457553503002012-09-28T09:56:51.575+01:002012-09-28T09:56:51.575+01:00May be wrong, but weren't the 'Tales of Te...May be wrong, but weren't the 'Tales of Terror' stamps from 1997 supposed to glow in the dark?Robertnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-20043521137751858222012-09-27T20:13:56.410+01:002012-09-27T20:13:56.410+01:00Thank you, Opinion8. I agree with the other commenters, who reckon your site is the best and most up-to-date source of such news. Sincere congratulations on your 500,000th page view and on achieving 100,000 page views in just the past two months; and also on the general excellence of your website, which is always interesting and exceptionally well illustrated.

As a professional journalist and experienced web poster,(my part-time "hobby" is running AirlinesAndDestinations.com, an air and destination travel news site which receives 30,000 to 35,000 unique visitors and from 50,000 to 60,000 page views a month on average), I wonder if you might make more practical use of counting unique visitors rather than page views. That way you will get a better handle on how many viewers you have and how many return very regularly (I'm one who does!). Google Analytics (totally free) is great for such analytics and through Feedburner (also free) Google will also allow you to set up automatic e-mail newsletters which will go out to your site members as often as you want it to, informing them of the latest posts on the site.

Please pardon me for suggesting this ... it's just a thought about something that might help you make the site statistics even more relevant for your purposes.Opinion8https://www.blogger.com/profile/06758401125906782617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-38349973856820942452012-09-27T19:43:19.868+01:002012-09-27T19:43:19.868+01:00I don't recall any that glowed in the dark aft...I don't recall any that glowed in the dark after exposure to normal light, unless one of the Nobel Prize set was like that - all sorts of innovations there.Ian - Norvichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16436130277706268046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-61379575088648114.post-28815618953406075082012-09-27T19:41:28.633+01:002012-09-27T19:41:28.633+01:00Half a million! My first port of call for stamp info :) The gold medal stamps I have used for letters recently have been well received overseas.

Enjoy your break, perhaps you could send friends/family postcards if you are going somewhere! Speaking of postcards, for Postcrossing I received one from Malaysia with a glow-in-the-dark stamp (haven't checked to see if it actually glows...).
